Macfie Architectural delivers architecture that is well considered and executed from the first sketch, to design development, through to documentation and final construction.
Led by Directors Rebecca and Michael Macfie - the studio consists of creative individuals who share architectural design expertise and offer an exceptional range of technical competency.
Over the past 15-years, living and working in both London and Melbourne, Michael’s experience lies in many project types from residential, multi-residential, hospitality, commercial and education.
His passion for design is matched by an equal commitment to ensure that the overall vision is implemented to its full extent during all phases of a project.
As the director of the practice he created, Michael continues to foster a creative and collaborative environment for the team, clients and aligned consultants.
As co-founder and director of Macfie Architectural, Rebecca trained in fine arts and has a meticulous eye for detailed design.
Studying her MBA abroad in London, Rebecca gained experience in both Europe and Australia in the public and private sectors.
Her continued examination of aesthetic practices and materials allows Rebecca to push preconceptions and create refined beautiful spaces.
